The Sun Inn - Swindon

Couldnt check in but i bet the place is nice since it looks cozy and has a good vibe. I like the idea of comfy rooms and friendly staff from other reviews. The location seems perfect, close to fun places like museums and parks, which sounds great for a chill stay. Parking seems easy too, a plus for me. Really hope next time i visit it goes smoothly.

Was super frustrated to find the hotel closed when i arrived at 10:30pm after requesting a check-in at that time.

It was stocked, fashionable and where all the long tables were. Everything was good. The location was easy, not too far from Polo Ground.

Hotel's location was quiet and easy, close to Swindon centre. The room was airy and top-class and provided with chilled atmosphere, a well appointed en suite bathroom and mirrors. The staff was attentive and efficient - I would come here again.

The room was well-equipped, but the breakfast organization was poor.

I am furious that I was charged twice for my stay! They refused to acknowledge their mistake and left me having to sort this mess out. How can they treat customers like this? It's absurd! I expected better service, especially after a prior positive visit, but this experience has soured my view completely.

The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all necessary amenities. The staff provided a warm welcome and were attentive to my needs, including accommodating a takeaway breakfast request. The outdoor seating area was well-maintained.

Wish it was better

Room was spacious and clean, so that was a plus. But the staff? Ugh, they were pretty unhelpful and kinda rude. Breakfast was a letdown too, we waited ages for service, then got ignored. The dining area was messy, couldn't even eat comfortably with tables full of dirty dishes. Definitely needs work on the service front.

Children's playground is great for families. Service can be slow and somewhat disorganized during busy times. Nice outdoor seating area adds to the experience. Live music on weekends was a fun touch. Room had good amenities, but cleanliness could be better.

Stayed at the sun inn for 3 nights. The room was well-equipped with a kettle, iron, and hairdryer. Enjoyed the great coffee and biscuits, and the large car park was a plus. Close to coate water country park for lovely walks.

The generous breakfast provided was a highlight, fueling my days exploring Swindon. Easy access to clean outdoor areas made for a nice environment to relax. The staff could be more attentive during busy times.

Consider using earplugs during breakfast hours, as music can be quite loud in the morning.
